Thank-you for purchasing a Gardens of Italy quality product. We would like to make installation as easy as possible for you with this installation pamphlet, so that you can enjoy this magnificent water feature in your own setting.

        Installation :(Stand Alone Version)

      1. Level area for Vitinia Stand (174). To facilitate electrical cord of pump, the one side of the stand must be elevated with spacers or else a groove must be cut from the hole to one side, into the bottom of the pedestal.
      2. Cement the Bacino (173) to the stand, using wedges to level it. Install the Waterfall pump (913) and feed the cord through the hole in the Vitinia stand (174). Silicone seal the bottom of the big hole in the Bacino as well as the bottom of the hole in the Stand. This will prevent any water leaking down the middle of the fountain, and short circuiting the electrical connection.
      3. When installing the Vitinia top (171), make sure the hose only extends one third into the height of the particular part. The hose should also be silicone sealed to the inside of the part, to prevent the backflow of water down the inside of the fountain. The top should not be cemented in place, to enable later servicing of the pump.
      4. After the cement has set, the wedges can be removed and the holes left plastered over. The cemented joints can be smoothed down and wrapped with wet sponge or felt and plastic to aid the curing process. This wrapping should be left on for 24hrs, after which the joints can be painted over.

        Installation :(Dam Included Version)

      5. Level area where dam will stand and install the Dam (70).
      6. Cement Six Sided Base (12) in the middle of the Dam, making sure the groove faces away from the main approach to the fountain.
      7. Push the hose through the Vitinia Stand (174) and cement the Stand onto the Base. Use the wedges to level the Stand.
      8. Cement the Bacino (172) to the stand, using wedges to level it. Silicone seal the bottom of the small hole in the Bacino as well as the bottom of the hole in the Stand. This will prevent any water leaking down the middle of the fountain, and short circuiting the electrical connection.
      9. When installing the Vitinia Top (171), make sure the hose only extends one third into the height of the particular part. The hose should also be silicone sealed to the outside of the part, to prevent backflow of water down the inside of the fountain. The Vitinia Top (171) can then be cemented in place, again leveling it with wedges.
      10. After the cement has set, the wedges can be removed and the holes left plastered over. The cemented joints can now be smoothed down and wrapped in wet sponge or felt, as well as plastic to aid the curing process. This wrapping should be left on for 24hrs, after which the joints can be painted over.
      11. The Waterfall pump (903) can now be connected and the Dam filled with water. The flow of the fountain can be regulated by the pump.
