      Installation

      Installation using Dam

    1. Level area where dam will stand and install dam.
    2. Cement the Six Sided Base (12) in the middle of the dam, making sure the groove faces away from main approach of the fountain.
    3. Push the hose through the hole in the Large Layer (11) to extend 100mm above the top. Cement the Large Layer (11) to the base using Wedges to level it.
    4. Push the hose through the hole in the Medium Layer (10) to extend 100mm above the top. Cement the Medium Layer (10) to the Large Layer, using Wedges to level it.
    5. Push the hose through the hole in the Small Layer (9) to extend 100mm above the top. Cement the Small Layer (9) to the Medium Layer, using Wedges to level it.
    6. When placing the Boy with Fish (34) the hose should only extend up to a third of the height of the boy. Silicone seal the hose to the inside of the boy and cement the boy in place. Wedges should again be used to get it level.
    7. After the mix has set the Wedges can be removed and the holes filled up. The cemented joints can then be smoothed down and wrapped in wet sponge or felt and plastic to aid the curing process. This wrapping should be left on for 24 hours after which the joints can be painted over.
    8. The dam can now be filled and the flow regulated by adjusting the pump.
