      Thank-you for purchasing a Gardens of Italy quality product. We would like to make installation as easy as possible for you with this installation pamphlet, so that you can enjoy this magnificent feature in your setting.

        Installation

        Foundation using Damring

      1. Choose a level area and mark out a diameter of 2.4m with Fishing line and Wire pegs.
      2. Dig a foundation of 100mm deep along perimeter marked out. Then prepare cement mix for foundation, using 2 parts river sand, 1 part 10mm stone and 1 part cement.
      3. Lay foundation 100mm thick. While cement is still wet smooth down foundation to ensure a level area to work on.
      4. After initial period of 6 hours, hose down the foundation periodically to facilitate even setting of cement without cracking. - Every hour during daytime period. - Twice during nighttime period. This should be done for the next 18 hours.
      5. After the 24 hour setting and hardening period the damring can be installed.

        Installation of Dam

      1. Pre drill holes in flat bar with drilling machine and steel drill bit.
      2. Pre drill holes in Dam segments using the masonary drill bit. Place Dam segments (802) together, putting cement below and on side of segments. Brace each with the other using the flat bar and fisher plugs.
      3. Fill gaps between Dam Segments with cement. Keep joints wet to prevent cracking.
      4. Cement Shell Coping (804) pieces onto Dam Segments (802). Remember to keep cement joints wet.
      5. Once the Segments are braced together the Dam can be waterproofed with the Pro-Long waterproofing paint (3 coats). Read instructions of waterproofing.
      6. Ensure electrical connections are correctly waterproofed - consult an electrician for advice.
      7. Leave for 48hours to dry. Now ready to fill with water.
